  1. Virtual class for children ages 6-8: Drawing with Ms. Megan

    Draw fun critters along with graphic artist, Megan Harper using sketch paper and markers or colored pencils.If you can’t find any supplies at home, art supplies can be requested individually or as a kit! This class is for children ages 6-8 years old. Attending a virtual class is easy! We will be using Zoom. 1. Register for the class before the registration deadline! The deadline will be 24 hours before the class is scheduled. 2. You'll receive your e-mail and password with the zoom link the day of the class. 3. Put the same name that you registered with. Staff may deny any users that are not on the list. 4. You'll be placed in a waiting room until the presenter has arrived. Presenters will be in the chat about 5 minutes before the scheduled class time. 5. Arrive on time! Class will be locked 15 minutes after start time.

  2. Virtual class for children ages 9-11: Intro to Juggling!

    Have you ever wondered how to juggle? In this class we will create our own juggling balls and learn some basic beginning juggling techniques with our library pal, Aaron Friend. Pick up a kit with 2 balloons and birdseed to make your own juggling balls beginning June 8. This class is for children ages 9-11 years old. Attending a virtual class is easy!     Join bee enthusiast, Sarah, in an interactive presentation on types of bees found in a hive, their jobs, how they make honey, and why they are an important pollinator along with other important (and fascinating) things about bees. This presentation will follow with a fun craft creating rolled beeswax candles. Pick up a kit beginning 06/09/2021. Join the Buda Public Library for virtual weekly programs! Weekly programs provide enrichment and enjoyment for teens while allowing connection within our community.     Discuss books with fellow book lovers! During book club, we will discuss our chosen genre as well as the recommended read followed by an activity. This month we'll be discussing Graphic Novels! A graphic novel is a book made up with comic content. After our discussion, we'll experiment with starting our own comic panel. We'll be using art supplies from the general art kit but anything you have on hand at home will do! You can request individual art items (while supplies last) at the library.
