(Use your fingers to count from 5 to 0)

Five Little Spiders spinning webs in a door, one spun away and then there were four.

Four Little Spiders spinning webs in a tree, one spun away and then there were three.

Three Little Spiders spinning webs brand new, one spun away and then there were two.

Two Little Spiders spinning webs in the sun, one spun away and then there was one.

One Little Spider spinning webs all alone, she spun away and then there were none.

Fingerplay: Itsy Bitsy Spider

(Sing slow, medium, and then as fast as you can!)

The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout (creep your fingers up)

Down came the rain (rain with your fingers)

And washed the spider out (swipe your hands down and outward)

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain (make a circle overhead with your arms)

And the itsy bitsy spider crawled up the spout again (creep your fingers up one more time)
