Interlibrary Loans

Expanding Your Resources
Buda Public Library users are eligible to borrow through the Interlibrary Loan Program. If you do not find an item at the Buda Public Library, you can request that the item be sent to Buda from another library.
Interlibrary Loan systems scan the network and locate the book for you. The lending library sends the book to Buda where you can pick it up.

Guidelines
  • Patrons must have been active library members in good standing for at least one month.
  • Patrons must have successfully checked out and returned our materials at least once in the past year; items returned very shortly after being checked out do not suffice.
  • Patrons may have up to 3 active requests at a time.
  • Interlibrary loans cost $2 per item to partially offset shipping costs.
