Storytime at Buda Public Library

Storytime at the Buda Public Library focuses on providing children with fun positive experiences at the library, giving young children the opportunity to develop social skills and fine motor skills as well as having an enjoyable introduction to the world of books.  

Now this is the time for storytime!

Experience books, rhymes, movement, and art through storytime! Storytimes are presented virtually on Tuesdays (Toddlers) and Thursdays (Preschoolers) at 10:30 am. In-person storytimes will resume on Mondays (Toddlers) and Wednesdays (Preschoolers) at 10:30 am beginning November 8. Pre-registration for in-person programs opens on November 1.

Toddler Time (18-36 months)

Pre-register here. Registration for in-person is good for one month. Please register your entire family. If registering for virtual programs, you only need to register once and will be sent an e-mail once a week while the program remains virtual.

Toddler storytime focuses on children who are just beginning to explore the world on two feet. Rhymes, songs, short books, and an easy art experience make this fast paced storytime a delight for children.

Preschool Storytime (3-5 years)

Pre-register hereOnce you are registered, we will send you an e-mail for as long as the program is presented virtually.

Preschool storytime offers children ages 3-5 opportunities to interact with the story time experience through songs, rhymes, movement rhymes, and longer stories.
