At the Buda Public Library, we especially recognize our responsibilities to children. We want to make sure they have positive experiences, not only with our library, but with literacy in general. A strong foundation in reading can lead to better literacy skills later in their teenaged and adult years.

  4. Buda Kids Club

    Join the newest afterschool program at Buda Public Library! Buda Kids is a weekly afterschool club for students in grades 3-5 meeting every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Activities will rotate and will include book club, art, STEM activities, and game day.

  5. Family Place Library

    Check out the Buda Pubic Library Family Place Play Area which offers children from birth to five opportunities to learn and grow through play

  6. Books & Art

    Books & Art is an afterschool enrichment program for students in kindergarten through second grade held on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm. Join us for an afternoon of fun!!

  7. Solar Eclipse @ Buda Library

    On Monday, August 21, 2017, a total eclipse of the Sun will be visible in the continental United States for the first time in almost 40 years. Join the Buda Public Library as we host several events and celebrations around the eclipse!
